Our very own Estate is nestled in an unique location just 20 minutes from the popular seaside hotels in Bentota. The resort is amidst a forest filled with Rubber, Cinnamon and Tea plantations. The chirping sounds of a variety of birds in the estate are always there to greet you with a traditional greeting…”Ayubowan”…. which means WELCOME.
South-West of Colombo in a village called Ambèthanna which is 20Kms from the sea coast of Bentota. Drive time from the Bandaranaike International Airport is 2.5 hours and 45 minutes from Bentota.
This village is unspoilt, undisturbed & unique in its setting. Surrounded by a lush green forest with tea, rubber, cinnamon & pepper plantations – a must see place for nature lovers, bird watchers and nature walkers. A vast variety of birds chirping on the trees are a soothing sound to the ears in a serene atmosphere which is free of pollution.

Accommodation: Eco lodges constructed out of wooden panels, wooden poles, rock stones, sand, cement, mud & clay.
Lotus Lodge: Sleeping for approx 12 pax on wooden beds with sturdy, comfortable mattresses, cotton bed linen and overhead mosquito nets for a comfortable night’s sleep.
Kingfisher Kabin: Sleeping for 8 pax (4 Double Rooms) on the upper deck similar to the above.
Brook Bungalow: This is a family room and suitable for 3 people with an attached bath/shower room and toilet.
- Euro 30 per person, on Full Board basis (minimum 2 pax)

- Euro 05 per person for Tuk Tuk ride to Bentota beach and back
- Euro 15 per person for Airport transfer by AC car.

- The fruits & vegetables are 90% organic produced and/or grown in the area.
- The food is cooked in earthen vessels over a traditional fire-place.
- The water supply to the resort is from a natural spring and also from a WELL which has natural springs.

Walk 700 metres to the natural stream & enjoy a 5 kilometre walk through the dense forest & paddy fields listening to the sounds of birds.

Note: The Sinharaja Rain Forest is only 40 aerial miles from the Nature Village; hence the variety and species of birds in the area are in abundance.

The resort has Cinnamon, Tea and Rubber plantations and guests are encouraged to take part in peeling cinnamon, picking tea leaves and tapping rubber as an experience which they will remember for a lifetime.
